My Stay at Beaches Resort Turks & Caicos

If you’re dreaming of a family-friendly destination with endless amenities, adventure-filled activities, and an atmosphere of total relaxation, then Beaches Resort Turks & Caicos should be at the top of your list. Located on the world-renowned Grace Bay Beach, with its powdery white sand and endless shades of turquoise, this all-inclusive resort is perfect for families, couples, or anyone seeking a Caribbean escape. With something for everyone—whether it’s indulging in global cuisine, diving into water sports, or relaxing in an ocean-front cabana—your vacation here will be nothing short of unforgettable.

I’ve been lucky enough to visit some incredible places, but there’s something truly special about Turks & Caicos. From the moment I arrived at Beaches Resort, I knew I was in for an unforgettable stay.

From the Airport to the Beach was a Breeze

Getting to Beaches Resort in Turks & Caicos was very easy, and I don’t think it would be too intimidating for first-time travelers.

  • Flying to Providenciales: I flew into Providenciales International Airport (PLS) from Atlanta, and the flight itself was relatively quick—just under three hours. As we got closer to the island, I could see the crystal-clear, turquoise water and the white sand beaches from the airplane window, which only made me more excited for what was to come.
  • Customs and Immigration: The airport in Providenciales is very small, and navigating it is pretty straightforward. Once we landed, I followed the signs to customs and made sure to have my passport ready. The customs and immigration process was smooth, although it did take over an hour to get through the line. If you want to make sure that you don’t have to wait in a long line, you can purchase a Fast Track pass, which starts at $75 per person (kids 2 and under are free). Once through the line, I picked up my luggage and was ready to go!
  • Getting to the Resort: Beaches Resort takes care of everything when it comes to getting you to the resort. Outside the airport doors, I headed to the Beaches welcome area. The staff greeted me with a cold bottle of water and there was a shuttle bus already waiting. The drive was super quick—only about 15-20 minutes. I spent the whole ride soaking in the island scenery and getting used to being on the left side of the road!

Endless Fun, Food, and Relaxation Included

Beaches is a true all-inclusive resort, and one of the best things about staying there is how much is included in the price of your stay. It was such a freeing feeling not to worry about carrying a purse or wallet everywhere I went. Being able to eat at a restaurant, knowing that everything (including tips!) was included. Overall, the all-inclusive nature of Beaches Resort made everything so stress-free—it was all taken care of, leaving me to just relax and enjoy my vacation to the fullest.

  • All-Inclusive Dining: Unlimited meals and drinks (including premium liquors) are all included!
  • Water Sports and Activities: Snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving, Hobie Cats, water trikes, windsurfing, glass bottom boats, and paddleboarding!
  • Kids’ Activities: Supervised activities for kids of all ages, plus interactions with favorite Sesame Street characters!
  • Entertainment and Nightlife: Live music, themed parties, games, an Xbox lounge, and shows!
  • Fitness and Wellness: Fitness center, tennis, beach volleyball, yoga classes, and basketball!
  • Transportation Around the Resort: Golf cart shuttles and a fun miniature train to take you around the resort!
  • Tips: There is a strict no-tipping policy at the resort!

A Resort With Four Unique Villages

One of the coolest features of Beaches Turks & Caicos is that it feels like four resorts in one. The resort currently features four distinct “villages.” (A fifth village, Treasure Beach Village, is under construction and is scheduled to open in Spring 2026.) Each village has its own unique vibe, which means you can pick the one that best fits your style—or explore them all like I did!

  • Caribbean Village: Laid Back Island Charm
I stayed in the Caribbean Village, and it was everything I wanted in a beach getaway. It is a tropical haven that beautifully captures the spirit of island living and offers a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Think turquoise buildings, swaying palm trees, lush landscaping, and thatched-roof gazebos giving off major island vibes. My room was just steps from the beach, which meant I could wake up and take a quiet morning walk along the shore before the resort came to life. There were several pools and whirlpools to enjoy, including some with swim-up bars, and a variety of dining options, from international dishes to delicious wood-fired pizzas and southwestern American favorites. In addition to the main building with cozy standard rooms, there are also private villas available. Perfect for families, this village offers the ideal balance of relaxation and fun, and its proximity to the stunning Grace Bay Beach makes it the ideal spot for both adventure and unwinding. Insider Tip: The Caribbean Village has some of the most affordable rooms at Beaches and its central location gives you easy access to the entire resort.
  • Italian Village: The Heart of the Action
The Italian Village at Beaches Turks and Caicos brings together the perfect mix of luxury, charm, and Mediterranean-inspired style. This lively village is home to the resort’s largest pool, complete with towering fountains and a swim-up bar, offering a relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for families. You’ll also find some of the resort’s best dining options here, including delicious Italian cuisine, a beachside restaurant right on the sand, and a cozy traditional English pub. There are activities by the pool throughout that day, so if you love a lively atmosphere, the Italian Village is for you. Insider Tip: The suites in this village are great for families, with bunk beds for the kids and separate sleeping areas for parents.
  • French Village: A Tranquil Escape
Inspired by the beauty of the French countryside, this village blends the elegance of French design with a welcoming, family-friendly vibe. The French Village is full of charm, with its cobblestone pathways and soothing fountains, plus a large pool with a swim-up bar. The French Village is the smallest village of the four and is quietly tucked away from the beach. It is also the closest village to the 45,000-square-foot water park. Dining here offers a touch of sophistication, with French-inspired restaurants and cafés to enjoy. Insider Tip: The French Village is home to the Entertainment Stage, where your child’s favorite Sesame Street characters come to life in a fun show every evening!
  • Key West Village: The Ultimate in Luxury
The Key West Village brings the laid-back vibe of the Florida Keys to beautiful Turks & Caicos. With its tropical-inspired architecture and charming pastel buildings, this village creates a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re staying in a cozy room or a multi-bedroom villa with its own private plunge pool, you’ll enjoy a peaceful retreat. Though family-friendly, Key West Village is the quietest of the villages at Beaches Turks & Caicos, offering a peaceful adults-only pool area and two adults-only restaurants. Dining here is a treat, with everything from fresh seafood to American favorites with a coastal twist, giving you a taste of the island’s rich flavors. The serene vibe makes it a perfect spot for both families and couples, with stunning views and easy access to the beautiful Grace Bay Beach. Insider Tip: Even if you don’t stay here, come for breakfast at Sky Restaurant—the views from the rooftop terrace are amazing!

Dining at Beaches Resort: So Many Options, So Little Time

One thing I quickly learned is that you will never go hungry at Beaches Turks & Caicos. With 20+ restaurants, you could stay for two weeks and still not try everything. With a diverse selection of restaurants, guests can enjoy everything from fresh Caribbean seafood to international cuisine, all prepared with the highest quality ingredients. The resort offers a variety of themed restaurants, each with its own unique atmosphere. You can find a huge variety of cuisines like Italian, southwestern Tex-Mex, Mediterranean, sushi, a 50’s style diner, ice cream, seafood, pizza, French pastries, an English Pub, and local Caribbean favorites. There are kids’ menus available at most restaurants with options such as chicken nuggets, penne pasta, and fish and chips. Parents can also enjoy a meal in peace at one of the adults-only restaurants while the kids are entertained at the kids’ club.

A few of my top picks:

Kimono’s Teppanyaki Grill – A lively hibachi-style restaurant where the chefs put on a show while cooking right in front of you. The energy here is so fun, and the food was my favorite meal of the trip! Insider Tip: Kimono’s requires reservations, so visit Guest Services to book as soon as you arrive at the resort!

The Jerk Shack – If you want authentic Caribbean flavors, do not miss this spot. Their jerk chicken, served with sweet potato fries, was delicious.

Arizona’s – I enjoyed the casual buffet lunch at Arizona’s. There was a variety of Caribbean foods and Southwest-inspired dishes. My favorite was the taco bar with pulled pork, beef, and chicken, plus all the fixings.

Bella Napoli – This wood-fired pizza hit the spot after a day at the beach. It does take a long time to prepare (we waited about 45 minutes for ours), so order early!

Bars for Every Taste

There are plenty of bars sprinkled around the resort to keep you refreshed. From the lively Liquid nightclub bar to the more laid-back Cricketer’s Pub, you’ll never have to walk far to grab your favorite beer, wine, or cocktail. The swim-up bars are especially convenient if you want to sip on a frozen cocktail while lounging by the pool or taking a dip.

Pirates Island Water Park: Fun for Kids (and Adults!)

Beaches Resort features an incredible water park that promises endless fun for kids of all ages. Pirates Island is one of the resort’s highlights and a great way for families to spend the day together. This expansive water park features a variety of water slides, a surf simulator, and splash pads. The Pirate Ship is a hit with younger kids, offering multiple water cannons and a gigantic bucket that dumps water every few minutes. I loved soaking in the tropical sunshine while I floated around the relaxing lazy river.

Insider Tip: If you love mac and cheese like I do, the Mr. Mac Food Truck inside the water park is dangerously good. You’ve been warned.

A Fun Destination for Kids

I traveled to Beaches without kids, but I know that while on vacation, parents may want to enjoy some relaxation and time alone while knowing their kids are having a blast in a safe and supervised environment. The Kids’ Camp at Beaches Resort is the perfect place for children to engage in fun and educational activities.

  • Camp Sesame: With a wide variety of activities inspired by the beloved Sesame Street characters, the camp offers interactive play, arts and crafts, games, and educational experiences for babies and children up to age 4. From meeting Elmo and Cookie Monster to participating in themed adventures, Camp Sesame provides a safe and engaging environment where children can learn, explore, and make new friends.
  • Age-Appropriate Activities: The Kids’ Camp offers an exciting and enriching experience for children ages 5 to 17. With age-appropriate activities and supervised fun, the club provides a safe space where kids can enjoy everything from arts and crafts, storytelling, and nature walks, to video games, cooking classes, and water activities. Tailored for different age groups—Navigators (5-7), Adventurers (8-10), Tweens (11-14), and Teens (15-17)—the Kids’ Camp ensures every child has a blast while parents relax, knowing their kiddos are in good hands.
  • Trained Caregivers: The staff at the Kids’ Camp is specially trained in child care, ensuring that your children are not only entertained but also safe and well-cared for. Beaches Resort is also an Advanced Certified Autism Center.

The Beach and Resort Grounds

When it comes to location, Beaches Resort couldn’t be more ideal. It’s nestled along the stunning Grace Bay Beach where the sand is as soft as powdered sugar, and the water is the clearest, most vibrant turquoise I’ve ever seen.

  • Grace Bay Beach: The beach itself is a picture-perfect paradise. The shallow, warm waters are ideal for swimming and snorkeling, and the soft sand is perfect for lounging under an umbrella with a cool drink in hand. You can spend your days watching the waves, engaging in beach activities, or simply taking a relaxing stroll along the shoreline.

  • Scenic Resort Grounds: The resort grounds are lush and beautifully landscaped, with palm trees, colorful flowers, and manicured lawns. The walking paths are perfect for early morning or evening strolls, and there are plenty of quiet corners to unwind, whether you’re reading a book or simply enjoying the tropical atmosphere.

Refreshing Escapes: The Pools at Beaches Resort

One of the highlights of my stay at Beaches Resort was the incredible pools. Whether you’re looking to relax, swim, or have a little fun in the sun, there’s a pool for every mood. The pools are heated, and there are lifeguards on staff to ensure everyone’s safety.

  • The Italian Village Pool is the main pool area in the resort. This pool is huge, surrounded by lush greenery and lounge chairs, making it the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy the tropical vibe. The best part? There’s always something happening—whether it’s a poolside cocktail party or a fun activity, it’s never dull. The swim-up bar is also a favorite for grabbing a refreshing drink without ever leaving the water.
  • The French Village Pool is one of the most picturesque spots at the resort. This beautiful, expansive pool is framed by charming European-style architecture, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. There is a shallow kiddie pool alongside the main pool, making it convenient for parents to keep an eye on their little ones. I loved lounging here and visiting the swim-up bar for a fruity frozen concoction.
  • The Caribbean Village offers two pools. For a bit of fun with a tropical twist, the Cascades Pool has a vibrant, island-inspired design with colorful mosaics. It’s a fantastic place for families or groups to hang out and enjoy the sunny weather. The vibe here is a little more upbeat, with guests chatting around the swim-up bar and enjoying the scenery, but it never feels overcrowded. The second pool, the Iguanas Pool is nestled in the middle of the village and provides a tranquil oasis with waterfalls and plenty of lounge chairs for relaxing. There is also a volleyball net at one end for those wanting to get in on a little friendly competition.
  • The Key West Village Pools have a more upscale, laid-back vibe. Instead of one large pool, there are several smaller pools throughout this village. The main infinity pool is perfectly situated near the beach, so you can take a dip in the water and then stroll right out to the shore. It’s a perfect spot for those looking to combine poolside fun with beautiful ocean views. There is also an Adults-Only Quiet Pool for those looking for some peace and serenity. This adult-only space is perfect for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle, with calming waters and beautiful views.

The Staff: Friendly, Attentive, and Always Smiling

One of the standout features of Beaches Resort is its staff. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by friendly faces and warm smiles that make you feel right at home. The level of service here is exceptional, and it’s clear that the staff genuinely care about making your stay as enjoyable as possible.

  • Personalized Service: Whether it’s remembering your name, offering a recommendation for dinner, or accommodating special requests, the staff at Beaches Resort goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels valued and cared for.
  • Attentive and Professional: Every staff member, from housekeeping to the waitstaff to the concierge, is attentive, professional, and genuinely eager to make your vacation as seamless as possible. You’ll find that even the little details, like remembering your favorite drink or helping with kid’s activities, are handled with care.
  • Impressively Clean: From the resort common areas and restaurants to the guest rooms and resort grounds, it was obvious that everything was meticulously cared for. There was a rain storm one afternoon during my stay, and by the next morning, all the branches and leaves that had fallen to the ground were already picked up!
